Welcome to Atlanta Labradoodles. We are located on a small family farm near Atlanta, Georgia and raise 1-2 litters of puppies annually. Our main business is horses, including riding lessons, training and boarding, so our puppies are raised with lots of activity and other animals--they are very social and well acclimated to a variety of situations. By the time they are ready to go to their new homes, the puppies will have been thoroughly vet checked and had their first round of shots. We are pleased to report that all puppies from our April, 2010 have been placed with fabulous families and are enjoying their new homes. Our newest additions arrived on October, 24th, 2010. They are almost a repeat of our April litter--6 beautiful puppies ( 3 creme and 3 black). They will be ready to go to their new families around December 25--yes, Christmas!!-- which is when they will be approximately 8 weeks old. Our mom, Madelene, is a white AKC/CKC registered Standard Poodle. Maddie loves the outdoors---what were we thinking with a white poodle on the farm?? She would rather be swimming in the pond and chasing squirrels than cooped up in the house, although she is quite a princess when she has been to the groomers ( Thanks to Tara & The Pampered Puppy in Conyers, GA) and enjoys being the only house dog when she's all clean.
She has produced wonderful puppies (40 total) with her previous companion, Max and now 7 more bundles of joy with her new beau, Bob. The picture on this page shows a full grown Labradoodle from our first litter and two of his siblings from a later litter. Our puppies shed minimally as adults, if at all, and have wash and go coats--a touch up and now and then at the groomers is all they really need, but they are very easy to maintain with just a good shampoo every now and then. They do, of course, love pampering and baths--both poodles and labs love the water!
Our dad, Bob is a black labrador retriever, also AKC registered, who comes from a very strong English labrador retriever line--pedigree available upon request. Bob has all the classic characteristics of the English Lab....very square in his lines and stocky. He is a wonderful boy and we are so lucky to have met the Bernard Family in Covington, who own Bob and have raised him to be such a great family pet.
